Online: Farligt Gods og Østersøaftalen (Dangerous Goods + The Baltic MoU)
Formål og kursusindhold:
Gennem farligt gods-kurset får kursisten viden om transport af farligt gods til søs.
Modul 1: Modulet giver kursisten viden jf. IMDG-koden til at kunne håndtere farligt gods på sikker og betryggende vis under normal drift samt kunne tackle hændelser om bord, der involverer farligt gods.
Modul 2: Modulet giver kursisten de færdigheder og kompetencer jf. IMDG-koden til at kunne håndtere farligt gods på sikker og betryggende vis under normal drift samt kunne tackle hændelser om bord, der involverer farligt gods.
Modul 3: Modulet giver kursisten viden, færdigheder og kompetencer jf. Memorandum om transport af farligt gods med ro/ro-skibe i Østersøområdet (Østersøaftalen) til at kunne håndtere farligt gods på sikker og betryggende vis under normal drift. Kursisten opnår certificering jf. Østersøaftalens sektion 9.4.
Adgangskrav/målgruppe:
Skibsassistenter og officerer, som ønsker en indlæring i/genopfriskning af håndtering af farligt gods jf. IMDG-koden. Skibsassistenter og officerer, som ønsker at opnå certificering jf. Østersøaftalen for, at opnå kompetencer i håndtering af farligt gods om bord på ro-ro skibe jf. IMDG-, ADR- og RID-koderne.
For at opnå certificering jf. Østersøaftalens sektion 9.4 efter modul 3 er det en forudsætning, at kursisten har viden om og færdigheder i at anvende IMDG koden, hvilket kan erhverves gennem hhv. modul 1 og 2.

Purpose and Course Content:
Through the Dangerous Goods course, participants gain knowledge of the transport of dangerous goods by sea.
Module 1:
This module provides participants with the knowledge required under the IMDG Code to handle dangerous goods safely and securely during normal operations and to respond appropriately to incidents on board involving dangerous goods.
Module 2:
This module provides participants with the skills and competencies required under the IMDG Code to handle dangerous goods safely and securely during normal operations and to respond appropriately to incidents on board involving dangerous goods.
Module 3:
This module provides participants with the knowledge, skills and competencies required under the Memorandum of Understanding for the Transport of Dangerous Goods on Ro-Ro Ships in the Baltic Sea Area (the Baltic Sea Agreement) to handle dangerous goods safely and securely during normal operations. Participants will obtain certification in accordance with Section 9.4 of the Baltic Sea Agreement.
Entry Requirements / Target Group:
Ratings and officers who wish to gain or refresh their knowledge of handling dangerous goods in accordance with the IMDG Code.
Ratings and officers who wish to obtain certification in accordance with the Baltic Sea Agreement and gain competencies in the handling of dangerous goods on board ro-ro ships in accordance with the IMDG, ADR and RID Codes.
To obtain certification in accordance with Section 9.4 of the Baltic Sea Agreement following Module 3, participants must have the necessary knowledge and skills to apply the IMDG Code. These can be acquired through Modules 1 and 2 respectively.

Technical Requirements
To ensure the best possible learning experience, the following equipment is required:
- Computer or tablet with a minimum 12-inch screen
- Two screens are recommended – e.g. a computer and a tablet/phone – allowing you to work and communicate at the same time
- Keyboard and mouse
- Webcam, speakers and microphone (mandatory throughout the course)
- Headphones with a built-in microphone are recommended for the best possible sound quality
- Updated operating system and browser, regardless of whether you use Windows, macOS, Firefox, Safari, etc.
- Stable broadband internet connection
